ASAS Updates & Future Resources

Current ASAS project work, book and script development, practical tools, guides and future educational resources.

Our Commitment to Continued Learning and Support

Adult Sibling Alienation Syndrome (ASAS) is a complex, evolving topic. As new cases emerge, research expands, and families share their experiences, our understanding deepens. The ASAS Project is committed to providing clear, responsible, and continually updated resources that help families, professionals, and advocates navigate this difficult terrain.

This page offers a transparent look at what we are developing, what is underway, and what may be released in the future as circumstances align.

Book Project: In Development

A comprehensive ASAS book is well underway. It explores our lived experience of sibling alienation, the psychological mechanisms behind it, the harm and fallout, along with the broader social and legal implications.

Because the narrative intersects with an active request for investigation by the Mississippi Attorney General, we are intentionally holding publication until the outcome is known. The resolution of that matter—whether charges are filed or not—will significantly shape the final structure and tone of the book.

Why we’re waiting:

  • An arrest or formal action would allow the story to be told with clarity and without restraint.
  • The outcome will determine what can be stated factually versus hypothetically.
  • We want the book to be complete, accurate, and responsibly presented.

Until then, the manuscripts remain in active development.

Film & Script Projects

We have been approached to develop a screenplay based on our ASAS story. This project is in its earliest stages, and the script will evolve alongside the book.

Current status:

  • Concept outline drafted
  • Early scene work completed
  • Full script development will follow the book’s finalization

This project is long‑term and will be updated as milestones are reached.

Future Educational Materials

As ASAS continues to gain recognition, we plan to expand the site with additional resources, including:

  • Downloadable guides

  • Video modules
  • Professional training materials
  • Tools for families seeking intervention or documentation

These materials will be released gradually as they are completed and vetted.

Responsible Publishing

Because ASAS often intersects with legal, medical, and ethical issues, we take care to publish only what is accurate, safe, and appropriate. Some materials may be delayed or revised based on new developments, including:

  • Legal outcomes
  • New research
  • Family disclosures
  • Professional feedback

Our priority is clarity, safety, and truth.
